All things gold and red, auspicious Chinese characters, honey mandarin oranges, all kinds of sweets and cookies, reunion of kindred and loved ones, commemorating our ancestors, celebrating our heritage and ushering in the year of the pig… 新年快乐, 恭喜发财!!

  9. I have this same exact pig plush toy at home and was searching high and low for it throughout the new year, but still couldn’t find it. I am inclined to think that the courageous little pig made its way across the Causeway, disillusioned by the beliefs that oranges are orange-er on the other side. Ah well, I hope Babe is happy 😉 Here’s a toast to a serendipity moment. *I was linked here from Teckster’s blog. Fellow uni-mate*

Hee, cute! 🙂 I named the pig, The Pig. Haha…
Oh yeah, it was in Singapore for 3 years and then it went back to PJ where it has been residing happily since together with the rest of the furry beanie gang. Cheers!
